Carine, Instructor

Ever since my first dives at Cap d'Agde, a... very long time ago... I’ve always been just as amazed by being underwater, whether the water is fresh or saltwater, warm or freezing! Armed with my magnifying glass, I track down magnificent little creatures for you to admire. I’m also thrilled to guide divers through all their training courses. It was at CAPES that I took my first steps into the professional world of diving as a SAM pilot and surface safety officer. I’m returning this year as an instructor to share my specialty with you: underwater laughter!

Sophie, Instructor

Drawn to the sea ever since I was a little girl, I took my first dive with Xavier, then completed my training until I became a dive instructor 14 years ago. Completely hooked on this wonderful world, I’ve traveled to different parts of the globe thanks to this profession, which continues to fascinate me to this day. Whether it’s for an introductory dive, a training course, or an exploration dive, I’m delighted to guide you with care and safety so you can discover the beautiful underwater world of Cap d’Agde.

Lyham, Pilot & Surface Safety

I took my first introductory dive at CAPES Plongée in 2023. There, I discovered a whole new world. I loved the experience so much that I decided to go straight on to Level 1, and then, the following year, Level 2. In addition to discovering the underwater world, I was lucky enough to join the big family of divers, where I immediately felt at home. So it’s no surprise that when I was offered the chance to spend a season on the SAM as a pilot and surface safety officer, I accepted. It was an opportunity to discover even more and to share this wonderful passion—or rather, this sweet “addiction”—that is diving.
